The Tanzania National Examinations Council (NECTA) has officially released the Matokeo ya Kidato cha sita 2025 for candidates in Zanzibar, showcasing an outstanding pass rate of 99.95%. This announcement highlights the excellent academic performance of students sitting for the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) across the islands. A total of 125,779 candidates successfully passed the exams, reflecting a slight improvement over the previous year’s pass rate of 99.92%, when 103,252 students cleared the Form Six results 2025.

During the announcement on July 7, 2025, NECTA’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Said Mohammed, reported that only 68 candidates failed, accounting for a mere 0.05% of all examinees. This strong performance underscores the growing academic standards within Zanzibar’s education system. However, the council maintained a zero-tolerance policy toward exam malpractice, annulling the results of 71 candidates found guilty of cheating. This group comprises 70 candidates from the Form Six exams (64 school-based and 6 private candidates) and one candidate from the Grade A Teacher Certificate Examination (GATCE). The cancellations were executed in accordance with the Examination Council Act and the 2016 Examination Regulations, ensuring the credibility of the ACSEE Results 2025.

Dr. Said emphasized that these disciplinary measures align with legal provisions outlined in Chapter 107 of the Examination Act and related rules, reinforcing NECTA’s commitment to upholding fairness and integrity in national examinations. Candidates are advised to verify their Form Six results 2025 through the official NECTA results portal, which provides an accessible platform for students to check detailed scores and overall division classifications.

To access the results, candidates should visit the NECTA website at https://matokeo.necta.go.tz/results/2025/acsee/index.htm, select the letter corresponding to their examination centre, find their school name, and then locate their unique examination number formatted as SXXXX-XXXX-2025. By clicking on their exam number, students can view their individual grades and division status, which ranges from Division I through Division IV or fail (F). It is highly recommended that candidates save or print their results for future academic or professional use.
