About the organization

Heart to Heart Foundation (HtHF) is a South Korea based non-governmental organization registered in Tanzania on 2011 (No. 00NGO/00004737). It is dedicated to improving access to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services in underserved communities across Tanzania. Through its ongoing projects, HtHF aims to enhance community health and well-being by increasing access to safe and reliable water sources.

Scope of work

Heart to Heart Foundation invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit bids for borehole drilling and associated water supply works in Mtama District as detailed below:

• Site No. 1: Borehole drilling and installation at Linoha Dispensary

• Site No. 2: Borehole drilling and installation at Mmumbu Dispensary

The works include:

• Hydrogeological survey

• Borehole drilling

• Casing

• Gravel packing

• Test pumping

• Water quality testing

• Installation of submersible water pump

• Installation of water tank and tower

• Other necessary infrastructure

Bidders are encouraged to apply for both sites.

Eligibility and tendering process

HTHF invites sealed tenders from eligible Tanzanian drilling contractors registered in class VII or above to undertake the work. Tendering will follow national competitive bidding.

Obtaining tender documents

Interested and eligible bidders can obtain more information and inspect documents at the Heart to Heart Foundation Office, Plot No. 36/37, Jamuhuri St., Lindi, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm Monday to Thursday and on Friday up to 12:00 noon (excluding public holidays).

Requesting and submitting tenders

Interested bidders may request tender documents in English upon written application sent to an email address below.

All tenders must be submitted:

• In one original and one copy

• Enclosed in a sealed envelope

• Delivered to the Heart to Heart Foundation Office, Jamuhuri Street, Lindi

• No later than 13th May 2026 at 18:00 pm evening

Tender opening

Tenders will be opened on 14th May 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in public at the Heart to Heart Foundation Office in Lindi Town, in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

Important note

Late tenders, electronic submissions, or improperly sealed tenders will not be accepted for evaluation under any circumstances.
